Shields had TEXTBOOK coverage on that play, yet Rice both shoved, and grabbed Shields' facemask. Two fouls on one guy, gotten away with. Yet a flag thrown on the victim. He also ignored the CLEAR AS DAY shove by Tate on Shields. That was HIS call to make. Shields was in perfect position and is 3 inches taller than Tate. He was erased by the obvious illegal infraction, and Easley protected his investment and let it go. He also then stepped into the back of the end zone ahead of the African official who had the better vantage point, better angle, and who was ruling it correctly, in favor of MD Jennings. This man needs to be investigated. He also should resign, and if not, should be peacefully obtained before his next game.
